Set on the rolling estate of MenNefer, an elegant historic wedding venue built in 1875 nestled in Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, this wedding was a celebration bathed in warm September sunshine.

From the moment I stepped onto the sprawling 18-acre property, it was clear that this was no ordinary wedding day. The timeless colonial architecture and lush gardens offered so many beautiful backdrops for storytelling photography — from intimate portraits to grand family moments.

Walking into the bride’s getting-ready suite, the energy was calm but filled with joyful anticipation. The morning light streamed through the windows, illuminating delicate lace details and quiet smiles as the bridal party shared laughs and a few happy tears.
